Three materials, one form
Nº 7 is turned from the same drawing in each material, so the twist, the lip and the foot are identical. What changes is the weight in your hands and how the light lands on it.
Glass
Mouth-blown optical glass, annealed over two days and polished until the twist disappears into the light. Holds water without a liner.
Blown in Marinha Grande. 1.4 kg. Lead time 6 weeks.

Stone
Cut from a single block of Roman travertine and honed, so no two share a vein. Sealed inside; it takes cut flowers but not a week of standing water.
Cut in Vila Viçosa. 4.2 kg. Lead time 8 weeks.

Steel
Spun from 316 stainless, welded at the twist and brushed in one direction from lip to foot. It will mark; the marks are part of it.
