About Dusklayer
We make web motion that still works when someone else rebuilds it.
Dusklayer is an independent studio building a library of cinematic web layers. Each one is a complete page for an invented brand, written up as a prompt precise enough that another model can rebuild it, and measured before it ships.

How a layer gets made
Every layer goes through the same six steps. None of them is skipped for a deadline.
A brief, not a reference
Each layer starts from a technique, an industry and a feeling, such as particles for a calm wellness brand. Never from another site.
A real page
One HTML file for an invented brand: header, hero, three to five sections, footer, and the copy and prices that brand would publish.
Nine looks
Every layer ships with nine sets of values that change palette, density and pace, and at least two of them change the page from dark to light.
The prompt
About 38 KB of exact numbers: layout, motion timing, shaders, the runtime API and an acceptance checklist.
A blind rebuild
A fresh model gets the prompt and nothing else. We compare its build with the original frame by frame and publish the score.
Receipts
Mobile Lighthouse performance and accessibility, file weight and a reduced motion version, measured and printed on the layer page.
What we will not do
- Copy a design from another site, library or demo, or ask a model to.
- Put a real company, person or logo in a preview. Every brand you see is invented.
- Publish a number we did not measure, or a review nobody wrote.
- Hide a price, make cancelling hard, or renew a plan without telling you first.
- Sell or share your email, or follow you around the web. The site sets no cookies.
Where it is going
New layers land every week. At launch the library holds ten scenes, six sections, four full templates, three product films and three gradient engines, and the Dusklayer MCP brings all of it into Claude Code, Cursor and other coding agents.
Everything that changes is written down in the changelog, with the date.
