1. The short version
Use the layers in as many of your own and your clients’ projects as you like. Change them as much as you like. Do not sell or give them away as layers, templates or prompts.
2. What each plan grants
- Free layers: anyone may use a free layer and its prompt in personal and commercial projects, with or without an account.
- Pro: every layer and prompt, in unlimited projects for yourself and your clients, for as long as your plan is active. Founding Pro seats: for life.
- Studio: everything in Pro, plus the source files, for teams of up to five people in one organisation.
3. What you may do
Use a layer in websites, apps, presentations, pitches and client work. Rebrand it, change the copy, the colours, the fonts and the motion, combine it with other layers or your own code. The generated media in the product films may be used as part of the page they ship with. No credit to us is needed.
4. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the layers, prompts, source files or media on their own, or as part of a library, template, theme, UI kit, prompt collection or dataset, free or paid.
- Publish a layer, or a close copy of it, as a template on a marketplace.
- Use the layers or prompts to train or fine tune a machine learning model, or to build a competing library.
- Use a layer to pass yourself off as a real company or person.
- Extract the product film frames and sell or share them as stock.
5. Client work
Your client may use the finished project, for as long as they like. They do not get a licence to use the layer in other projects; that needs their own plan.
6. When a plan ends
Projects you started while your plan was active stay licensed. You cannot start new projects with Pro or Studio layers after the plan ends.
7. Brands in the previews
Every brand, product, person and number in a preview is invented. Replace them before you ship; the names carry no trademark rights and do not belong to you or to us as brands.
8. If the licence is broken
The licence ends for new use, and we may ask you to take down anything that redistributes our work. We would rather sort it out by email first.
9. Questions
If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask before you do it. Write to us through the contact page or at hello@dusklayer.com.
